About us
IA2C (INSA ADN Concept Club) is a student-led biotechnology association based at INSA Lyon, dedicated to the cutting-edge field of genetic engineering and synthetic biology. Our mission is to bridge the gap between academic theory and industrial application by designing and creating custom DNA molecules. These constructs serve as the blueprints for developing specialized microorganisms and cell lines with the potential to solve complex challenges in the industrial, environmental, and medical sectors.
At IA2C, we believe that technical innovation must go hand-in-hand with responsibility. Beyond the laboratory, we foster deep reflection on the historical, ethical, and scientific implications of biotechnologies. By participating in international competitions and global congresses, we represent the engineering excellence of INSA Lyon, putting our technical training into practice to build a sustainable and innovative future.
